They make enough on the rake that it's not worth it to rig the software. I trust Ulltimatebet and Partypoker. The only thing that I do worry about is partners? Most of the time I play in small 3/6 games. You have to figure that partners go to the bigger games. Once in a while I'll play 15/30 but I'll watch the game first. If we had all RR's in a game we wouldn't have to worry about guys playing partners. I'm sure Baghdad Bob and the circle jerk crew of Shack and Glife would try to enter undercover.

It's my opinion that they rig the hands to get bigger pots going, hence the bigger rake. I could be wrong, maybe it was a coincidence that I lost three good hands in a row against straights or full-houses. It seemed like you see a lot of hands where someone is holding a pair of kings, and someone else is holding aces. Then some other shmo hits his straight with the river. I guess stranger things have happeneded in reality.
for what it's worth, I was playing at Ultimate Bet. When I first started playing there I heard people bitching about the hands being rigged, and I just laughed. Then one night I got a series of strange bad-beats, and was singing the same tune. hahah. Haven't played there since. I was playing at Intertops the other night and I think there was a bot at the table raking in all the money. This person had good cards every hand, and kept banking their money away so you could's see how much they were winning. It was a lot. You just can't dominate an 8 person table like that in real life. My friend is a computer programmer, and he told me about a job he saw posted on Monster that was for a bot programmer for an online casino, and he was thinking about applying for the job, lol.
